My stay at the hotel was mixed. The rooms were in need of updating and unbelievably dated, but the spa service was ready on my schedule. The service was superb, from the valet to the bar personnel. The location was secluded but charming, and the property was meticulously maintained. My dining experience was a bit oily for my taste, but the home-made desserts were delightful.

I was pleasantly surprised by the rooms, it was better than I expected with a gas fireplace that had an on/off electric switch, a large flatscreen TV, a jacuzzi tub, a shower, dual sinks, a dressing area, and a small vanity table with a magnifying mirror. However, they seemed unbelievably dated, as was the spa. The outdoor shower and private hot tub provided a peaceful retreat.
